Devious Solicitors making the rounds in Minnetonka Beach

It is the Season of Solicitors at your Door.  Two weeks ago one of our residents bought magazines from people going door to door, and after doing some research about the “organization”, the resident ended up closing their bank account.

On May 12th the Orono Police arrested two men in Minnetonka Beach who were selling bottles of cleaning solution without a city license.  The police arrested another two men on Saturday, May 22nd for selling children’s books without a city license.  There were also two young women who gave out false information as they went about the city selling children’s books last weekend.
